I won't bore you with my thoughts on decorating, so suffice it to say I'm really liking the look of those browns and the pops of yellow and pale tones, especially on film. I won't lie, I was expecting this roll to exhibit the worst of what Superia can do to correctly exposed film, but I'm actually pleased with the warm tones it created.
If you're curious, the prints were an illustration of bracketing during the printing process and the way it affects tones, courtesy of my boss, Jake.

Oh, I LOVE those brown tones. That's always my favorite type of coloring in photos. So warm and romantic.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, Anne - my favorite is the first. Browns with pops of yellow.
ReplyDeleteOver the last couple of years I've started to embrace my love of brown, particularly in clothes. It no longer seems to be considered an unfashionable colour which is great! These tones are beautiful - how wonderful to work in this field and be inspired by your boss' knowledge too.
