⎨DIY Business Cards⎬

➵ A few weeks ago, I bought supplies to start making my own business cards. It made more sense to me to make them myself because I might want to tailor the information to the people I want to give them to. I looked everywhere for stamps and then got to work on the coffee table with my stamps, ink pad and a little bit of creativity. Now I just need to hand them out to more people.

➵ In other news, Bend was beautiful and quiet. The food was great, the hike along Smith Rock was gorgeous (we even saw a dead snake), and we stopped at Timberline lodge to get a closer look at Mt Hood, which was even more beautiful than I could have imagined. I have two rolls to take to the lab tomorrow if I can get there in time.

  1. those look great. i like the idea. i've thought about making blog cards (so i seem more legitimate taking pictures in places, haha) but i didn't want to order hundreds. making my own seems more fun anyway!

    1. It is a lot more fun and it's definitely a good solution when you have a blog. As you said, it would make you more legitimate, and you can also tailor it to the people you want to show or hand them to. I made a couple with links to this blog and my Etsy shop, as well as the ones with my portfolio and email. You could also give yourself a funny title in those, depending on your mood, like pug mother and vintage vulture.

    1. Thank you, Magali! I'm falling in love with black and white for indoor shots and really like those shots! What do your business cards say? I'm always curious to hear how people describe themselves. I just used a camera stamp so I wouldn't have to find a title for myself.
      How's your mirror project going?
